About The Meeting
Announcement
We're pleased to announce a conference for PhD students and postdocs working in Functional Analysis, to be held in Newcastle between 11-13 January 2010.
Scope
This year's Young Functional Analyst's Workshop is an opportunity for PhD students and postdocs to talk about, and learn about, current research in functional analysis.
We're a group of PhD students. We started last year, with a mini meeting on analytic function spaces. We wanted a place where we could talk about our research, in front of a sympathetic audience.
This year, we're expanding the scope of the meeting, to allow researchers from other areas of functional analysis to speak, and to allow researchers who are slightly further on in their studies to join in, but our aims are the same.
There's no money available to subsidise the workshop, but there are no conference fees either. We'll put more details up when we know them.
